E285 - Follow the Money - Heiko Peters, Alethea - Building a Medtech Company in Alberta

— Heiko Peters 32:00

Heiko and the entire Alethea Medical team believe in equitable healthcare for all. They’re accomplishing this through purpose-built technology to make physicians’ lives easier and provide them greater support and faster access to specialists, which allows them to deliver faster and better healthcare to their patients. After successfully delivering and testing their minimum viable product, the team turned its focus to raising capital. Heiko shares the challenges he faced when pitching, the change in accessible capital and what is affecting the interest levels of VC funds and their growth plans.
